
Amanda J. Ferrari, JD, CFRE
Amanda is the President and CEO of Ferrari Philanthropic Consultants with over
23 years experience specializing in fundraising, major and planned giving,
charitable estate and gift planning, endowment campaigns, capital campaigns,
board leadership development, and strategic planning. She has provided estate,
trust and gift planning leadership as well as tax counsel to high net-worth
donors. She has extensive experience in providing leadership, coaching, and
consultative services to key charitable and philanthropic organizations in
Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties in California.
Prior to co-founding Ferrari Philanthropic Consultants, Amanda was the Vice
President for Northern Trust in Newport Beach, California. She has had
leadership roles with charitable organizations that include: The Orange County
Performing Arts Center, Hoag Memorial Hospital, and the American Heart
Association. Amanda also served with the United States Department of the
Treasury, Internal Revenue Service.
Amanda holds degrees from the University of California, Riverside and UCLA, and
her Juris Doctorate from Western State University College of Law. She has been
an adjunct professor at California State University, Long Beach with the
American Institute for Philanthropic Studies and also at the University of
California, Irvine extension program.
Amanda was named the 1997 AFP Outstanding Fundraising Executive for Orange
County.
She currently serves and has served on numerous professional boards and
committees that include the Planned Giving Leadership Committee at UCI, the
Planned Giving Executive Committee of Olive Crest, the Professional Advisory
Committee for the Orange County Community Foundation and the Planned Giving
Leadership Committee at Orange County's Pacific Symphony. She is the Past
President of the Planned Giving Round Table and the Association of Fundraising
Professionals in Orange County. Amanda served on the 2002 Masters Forum
Committee for National Committee on Planned Giving. She has served on the Board
of Directors of Human Options and the Get A Grip Foundation. She is also a
member of the Orange Coast Estate Planning Council.
Amanda is bilingual. She speaks, reads, and writes Spanish fluently.
